Our cover story: Architecture meets Design
Does what belongs together come together? Since CAD dominates the design process, architects and designers work together more closely. But that is not it: Besides, the boundaries of both disciplines vanish. When up to now it was the architects, who designed a chair or a guidance system, now it is the designers, who – from their part – design buildings. We present up to date examples from the intersection of design and architecture – and talk with the new director of the Deutsche Architekturmuseum Peter Cachola Schmal about the present-day relationship between architects and designers.

Super Normal
They still exist, the ordinary things. Naoto Fukasawa and Jasper Morrison went looking and selected 204 objects. We provide an insight into the exhibition in Tokyo and print Jasper Morrison's manifesto for the „Super Normal“.

Making of
Basle based shoe designer Anita Moser rediscovered the Rorschach test – and discovered new shapes for the upcoming summer collection. We accompanied the steps of the design process.
